Sexual questions leave woman in tears

The humiliation of having to describe an orgasm brought the victim of an alleged indecent assault to tears in the Bellville Regional Court on Thursday.
The woman, who may not be named, was questioned by prosecutor Annette de Lange in the trial of Durbanville orthopaedic surgeon Johannes Roux Volsteedt, 53.

Volsteedt has pleaded not guilty before magistrate Andre le Grange to a charge of rape and 16 of indecent assault involving 10 women patients.
At an earlier hearing, Volsteedt's legal team of Graham van der Spuy and Di Pfaff told the court his defence to the rape charge was that the woman consented to sex with him during an appointment at his Louis Leipoldt Hospital surgery in November 1998.
The indecent assault victim told the court on Thursday she experienced an orgasm. The prosecutor asked her to explain what she understood an orgasm to be.
In tears, she said it involved physical sensation as well as a discharge on to her underwear.
Asked by the prosecutor why she had on Monday this week requested permission to testify in camera, she said she had felt embarrassed about describing her experience with Volsteedt in a courtroom packed with members of the public.

Carmen speaks out about being called a sex addict

Carmen Electra insists she is not a sex addict. The Scary Movie 4 star, who is married to rocker Dave Navarro, has disappointed her legions of male fans by claiming she isn't obsessed by wild bedroom antics and most of the time just wants to do "normal" stuff.

She said: "It's not true that we are crazy sex addicts. I'm not saying I don't like sex, but we do like normal stuff too. I think people believe I live in lingerie and high heels."

Earlier this month, it was revealed Carmen could lose a lucrative cosmetics contract - after 'riding' a sex machine on a live US radio show.

The former Baywatch star is in trouble with Max Factor for straddling the gadget on Howard Stern's programme, and claiming she could have had an orgasm from its vibrations.
Carmen's antics did not impress bosses at the make-up giant, who had issued her with a strict set of rules regarding her behaviour. The actress was appearing on the show to promote the latest Scary Movie film, but was coaxed by Stern into riding the machine, called a Sybian.

Max Factor have now confirmed the brunette's contract is under review following her outrageous actions.

Sexy Kim was never 'fulfilled' until 40

Kim Cattrall has confessed she was never "sexually fulfilled" until she was 40.

The Sex And The City actress, 49, admits she didn't have great sex until she took on the role of maneater Samantha Jones in the hit show and married her now ex-husband Mark Levinson.

She revealed to Britain's Telegraph magazine: "Sexuality had been a very narrow experience. There was a lot of fear connected to it. I kept thinking, it's just not the right man; it's just not the right relationship; it's just something that's not going to happen for me."

However, Kim's sex life improved dramatically when she married Mark in 1998.
She said: "There was a total chord change in an environment where I could really talk about my sexuality and felt free enough to experiment and play."

The former couple wrote the sex manual Satisfaction: The Art Of The Female Orgasm together, in which Kim revealed all her ex-lovers were flops in bed.
She wrote: "Premature ejaculators were the bane of my existence for most of my adult life."

7 things that happen during sex that are perfectly normal

There is a point during sex when women experience “the moment” when they know exactly how the rest of the act is going to work out for them. Picture: Flickr.com
At the best of times, sex is the end all and be all of human encounters. At the worst of times sex can be, well, really awkward. No need to worry though, we all experience a little embarrassment, nuisance or otherwise at some point in time.
Here are the 7 totally normal things that can happen during sex.

Dryness

Many women experience vaginal dryness at one point or another. In fact, about 1/3 of younger women experience dryness which can cause irritation during sex. The experts suggest longer foreplay (and vibrators, too!)

“The Moment”

There is a point during sex when women experience “the moment” when they know exactly how the rest of the act is going to work out for them – good, bad and ugly. Women often start a sexual encounter in a state of “sexual neutrality” and are pretty intuitive when it comes to their chance of achieving orgasm.

Pee sensation

Certain positions, especially those that stimulate the G-Spot, can leaving you feeling like you have to pee. Have no fear, you probably won’t, but you may experience female ejaculation. If you don’t experience urinary incontinence at any other time, you likely won’t during sex.

You get LOUD

66 percent of women moan during sex to speed up their partner’s climax, while  87 percent said they made noise to raise their partners self-confidence. Some women need to be vocal to reach orgasm while being loud for others helps them get what they want in bed.

Noise between the sheets
Vaginal flatulence is not the same as passing gas although, unfortunately, it sounds the same. Enthusiastic thrusting can sometimes trap air in the vaginal canal and the result isn’t always pleasant sounding but there is no harm or need for embarrassment – it happens to the best of us!

Distraction

Women can have multiple things in their minds at any given time. In the heat of the moment, that can get distracting and detract from the overall experience. Women often beat themselves up about their 9 to 5 thoughts creeping into their bedroom brains but sometimes its unavoidable. Spending more time connecting before getting busy to clear your thoughts may do wonders.
The sex headache

Sex headaches are usually a dull, persistent ache in your head that builds as you become more sexually excited. In more rare cases it can be a sudden burst of pain followed by orgasm. Most are nothing to worry about but if they become severe check with your healthcare provider.

Improve your sexual stamina: 6 tips to last longer

Having more sex not only helps to naturally build your stamina over time, but also helps to make you an expert. Picture: Pixabay
Let’s face it: we all want long sessions in the sack. But sometimes nature gets in the way. Don’t worry, guys – Jenni Holdsworth's tips will help you feel like a whole new man.

Try ‘edging’
Edging, also known as orgasm control, has been credited with boosting orgasms and libidos around the world. It’s defined as the practice of taking yourself to the point of orgasm through masturbation, stopping just before you tip over the edge, letting things die back down and then building back up again.

Combine the increased blood flow and sensitivity with the psychological desire to want what you can’t have, and that makes for one hell of an orgasm.

Male sex toys are incredible things. But did you know there’s one in particular that can help transform your sex life?

Fleshlight’s Stamina Training Unit has been specifically designed to help improve your sexual performance.

Do your kegels
It’s not just for girls. Kegels help to strengthen your pelvic floor muscles and are effective for men too. Over a long period of time they can help you have firmer erections and make you last longer.

If you’re not sure where your pelvic floor muscles are, they’re super easy to locate. All you have to do is try to stop and start the flow of pee when you go to the bathroom - it might take some practice. Once you know where they are and feel comfortable with them, sit or lie down and squeeze your pelvic floor for about five to 10 seconds. Relax for five seconds, and repeat it 10 times.it.

Sexercise

Leading on from the kegel exercises above, there are a couple more "sexercises" you can do in the privacy of your own home to strengthen your manhood and last longer. You might want to make sure you’re alone for these, but trust me – they’re well worth your time.

Don’t forget the foreplay
Ah, fellas. We know you want to just jump straight to the main event, but slow down for a second. Start off slow and work your way up and you’ll last longer once you do get started.

Practice makes perfect

You’ll love this one. How do you get better at anything in life? You do it more often. Having great sex and longer-lasting sex isn’t just something that happens automatically - everyone remembers their first time – but having more of it not only helps to naturally build your stamina over time, but also helps to make you an expert. So get studying.

Sex stimulus: your headache or mine?

"Not tonight, dear, I have a headache." But maybe sex, via relaxation and release of pain-killing endorphins, will relieve that headache. Any research to buttress this
timely rejoinder?

Nice try! But while one study does mention "a rise in the endorphin rate accompanying orgasm", most research points the other way, says Erick Janssen PhD of the Kinsey Institute.

Rats and hamsters show, if anything, decreased sexual behaviour under the influence of endorphins, and in humans, sex sometimes triggers headaches!
There is even a clinical subtype called "benign vascular sexual headache", with possibly "acute headache and hypertension occurring at the height of sexual excitement. "You might call this the "Not tonight, dear, I'll end up with a headache!" subtype.

Moreover, there are different types of headaches - migraines, tension-types, clusters, chronic dailies and so forth - and these can't be expected to respond uniformly to sex, or vice versa.

Arousal might diminish attention to pain, but the physical activity itself could bring on an "exertional" headache, after which orgasm has who-knows-what effect.

And, finally, how about Viagra, known to cause headaches in some men. Do we have a new type here? The "Not tonight, dear, I just took a Viagra", or, in other words, the "Just-wanting-to-have-sex-can-cause-a-headache" subtype?

Talk to your children about sex, say experts

Hong Kong - Hong Kong youngsters believe sex is more enjoyable for men than women and that people over the age of 60 no longer have sex, according to a survey published on Monday.

One in three believe that masturbation is a symptom of a poor relationship and only one in seven has discussed the facts of life with their parents, the study by the city's Chinese University found.

More than two-thirds of the 5 000 secondary school students and pupils at the top end of primary schools said they believed that the female orgasm was not as satisfying as the male orgasm.
Around one half of those interviewed said they believed that people over the age of 60 were no longer interested in sex, according to the South China Morning Post, which published the survey.

Psychology professor Catherine Tang told the newspaper adults were failing in their duty to pass on sex information to Hong Kong children.
"Parents and teachers don't know how to teach children about sex. They rely on each other and believe they are not responsible for educating kids about sex.

"Hong Kong students usually obtain sexual information from their classmates. They pass around false information and some of them turn to pornographic channels for sexual knowledge." - Sapa-dpa
